The next tournament for the TRMGA is the Club Championship, which takes place on Wednesday, March 6 and Friday, March 8.

The Snowbirds had a steep hill to climb in this year’s Ryder Cup trailing the Sunbirds 14 to 8 after the pairs matches on Day 1. Snowbird Captain Paul Addison estimated the squad would need to win 15 singles matches to tie and 16 matches on Day 2 to win. Winning 16 out of 24 singles matches is a tall order but the Snowbirds pulled it off taking 15.5 points against 8.5 for the Sunbirds. The final score was 23.5 to 22.5 in favor of the Snowbirds. This is the fourth straight victory for the Snowbirds and brings the tournament history to 4-2 Snowbirds. Once again, the tournament was extremely close.
